Infrastructure developer SPML Infra Limited on Thursday said it has signed an exclusive agreement with Energy Vault, USA, a global leader in sustainable energy storage solutions, to advance the country’s green energy sector.
“Under this partnership, Energy Vault is sharing its innovative technology with SPML, enabling local manufacturing and deployment of battery energy storage systems (BESS).
This collaboration will strengthen India’s energy infrastructure by accelerating renewable energy adoption and enhancing grid reliability,” SPML Infra said in a statement.
B-VAULT, a fully integrated BESS solution, is engineered for short to medium-duration energy storage, offering reliability, flexibility, and sustainability.
Its innovative enclosure architecture supports multiple battery and inverter options, while AC- and DC-coupled configurations ensure seamless project integration.
With advanced safety, cyber security features, and native VaultOS EMS integration, B-VAULT delivers cost-effective and scalable energy storage solutions, the statement said.
According to India’s National Electricity Plan (NEP) 2023, the country’s energy storage capacity is projected to reach 236.22 GWh by 2031-32, with an estimated market size of USD 57 billion, growing to USD 443 billion by 2047.
